Senior Application Engineer (HSD + Photonics)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled High-Speed Digital & Optical Solutions Engineer to provide support for customers within the realms of AI data centers, semiconductor technologies, optical networking, and high-speed interconnect solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert in high-speed digital communications, optical technologies, and signal integrity.
• Assist customers with validation and testing solutions for 400G/800G/1.6T, SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Silicon Photonics, and CXL.
• Conduct and provide guidance on jitter, eye diagrams, BER, signal integrity, and compliance testing.
• Facilitate customer evaluations, proofs of concept, technical demonstrations, and the achievement of design wins.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams to address customer needs and analyze market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering, validation, test engineering, or solution development.
• In-depth knowledge of PAM4, NRZ, SerDes, signal integrity, jitter, and BER.
• Practical experience with oscilloscopes, DCA, BERT, VNA, and optical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with optical transceivers, including QSFP-DD and OSFP.
• Excellent customer interaction and technical consulting abilities.
