Application Support - AWS

Core Responsibilities

• L1/L2 Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Deliver swift solutions for user technical challenges, address common system inquiries, and conduct essential troubleshooting. Regularly update and maintain internal FAQs and knowledge base documentation.
• AWS Cloud Management & Operations: Oversee and sustain fundamental AWS infrastructure components (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch). Assist in user provisioning, cloud monitoring, and basic troubleshooting within the cloud environment.
• Incident Management & Service Desk Oversight: Administer and oversee the central service desk mailbox. Efficiently log, track, route, and classify reported incidents and service requests.
• Process Enhancement & Documentation: Persistently refine IT operational workflows, business processes, and system support documentation.
• Access Governance & Compliance: Aid in conducting regular User Access Matrix assessments and ensure adherence to identity and access management (IAM) protocols across all systems and cloud environments.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Generate monthly IT operational reports. Actively communicate operational updates, system downtimes, maintenance schedules, and new implementations to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 4–5 years of practical experience in IT system support, business analysis, system implementation, and maintenance.
• Cloud Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (IAM access management, EC2 instance monitoring, S3 storage management, and basic cloud operations).
• Technical Support Skills: Solid foundation in ITIL processes, service desk operations, incident management, and user access matrix controls.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey operational updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
