Risk and Audit Analytics Manager

Position Overview

• Lead the development and execution of the data analytics strategy for the Dyson Risk and Audit team. This role is essential for balancing immediate data requirements with a strategic vision for the team’s long-term growth and capability enhancement.
• Data Product Management: Identify, implement, and sustain data products and tools, whether sourced internally or externally, to meet the analytical needs of the team.
• Risk Analysis: Collaborate with Risk Managers by providing data analytics support to effectively identify, evaluate, and monitor risks.
• Integrated Audits (Project-Based): Assist Audit teams by leveraging data analytics to strengthen the thoroughness and rigor of audit initiatives.
• Ongoing Risk and Controls Monitoring: Create data tools and capabilities (such as dashboards and alerts) to empower the Risk and Audit teams in their continuous monitoring of risks and controls.
• Provide assistance to the Risk and Audit team (or other departments as needed) in various ad-hoc projects, including investigations and post-incident reviews.
• Facilitate the skill enhancement of the Risk and Audit team through internal training sessions and advisory support.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree.
• A minimum of 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in data analytics and visualization, or business intelligence, ideally within a multinational manufacturing and consumer goods context.
• Proven track record of collaborating with business functions in a large matrix organization focused on decision-making, management and board reporting, project execution, or risk management.
• Expertise in programming languages such as SQL and Python, along with proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
• A proactive self-starter and problem-solver, capable of driving initiatives independently while employing a hands-on, innovative, and collaborative approach to overcoming obstacles.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey insights through data that prompt actionable decisions.
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on ad-hoc responsibilities as business needs evolve.
