C# Developer

Overview

We are in search of a Senior C# / .NET Engineer to become a part of a high-achieving enterprise technology team that supports a wide range of applications within financial operations and products. Our team is currently undergoing a capability enhancement and is seeking highly skilled senior engineers who can work autonomously and produce cloud-native solutions with minimal oversight.

About the Role

This position is primarily focused on backend engineering, responsible for the development and maintenance of critical trade operations platforms. You will engage in both project execution and business-as-usual support, collaborating with business stakeholders to create scalable and dependable solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve applications utilizing C# and .NET Core
• Create and support cloud-native, containerized applications
• Engage with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EKS), while experience in Azure or GCP is also appreciated
• Implement new features and enhancements for trade operations systems
• Support and maintain current production applications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Diagnose issues and promote improvements across the platform
• Take part in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices
• Leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted development when suitable

Must-Have Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Proficient hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core
• Background in building backend enterprise applications
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with containerized environments and contemporary deployment methods
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Capacity to work independently and assume responsibility for delivery
• Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Experience

• AWS EKS or Kubernetes knowledge
• UI / Frontend development experience
• Test Driven Development (TDD) expertise
• Familiarity with messaging technologies
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools
• Background in financial services, trading, or investment management
