Position Summary

. A leading high-tech manufacturing company is seeking a senior HVAC & Mechanical specialist to contribute to a significant facility development project in Singapore.

. This role will offer technical guidance across HVAC, cleanroom, and mechanical utility systems, engaging in design review, construction oversight, commissioning, and operational handover. You will collaborate closely with EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that systems comply with technical, operational, and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities

. Oversee HVAC and Mechanical technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle.

. Assess design submissions, RFIs, and proposed modifications.

. Deliver technical expertise in HVAC, cleanroom, and mechanical utility systems.

. Evaluate solutions considering technical, cost, schedule, operational, and maintainability factors.

. Engage in design safety, risk assessments, and value engineering sessions.

. Collaborate with EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

. Work alongside Production, Process Engineering, and EHS teams.

. Address technical challenges and manage interactions among various project disciplines.

. Assist in the technical evaluation and procurement of key mechanical equipment and utility systems.

. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.

. Provide technical assistance during construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover phases.

Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

. Minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical, industrial, data center, or other high-tech facility projects.

. Proven experience in design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover processes.

. In-depth knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom, and mechanical utility systems.

. Familiarity with chilled water, cooling water, Clean Dry Air (CDA), process exhaust, and utility infrastructure.

. Understanding of EPC project delivery, design management, and change management practices.

. Professional Engineer registration is a plus.

. Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks is also advantageous.
