Senior Associate Engineer

Position Overview

Become a vital member of our innovative team as a Senior Associate Engineer, where your expertise will be instrumental in providing cutting-edge fibre routing solutions. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with commercial teams to ensure that technical proposals effectively address business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft detailed pre-sales fibre routing proposals specifically designed for hyperscaler clients, ensuring that technical feasibility aligns with business objectives. Work in partnership with sales, bid management, and account managers to confirm the viability of proposed fibre routes. Offer technical assistance during customer engagements and tender processes. Strategically plan infrastructure for pipeline connections and fibre deployments to data centres, proactively identifying fibre requirements. Manage dark fibre projects, ensuring that service delivery is in accordance with Customer Ready Dates (CRD). Address and resolve site-specific issues related to pipeline and fibre infrastructure. Oversee the performance of contractors involved in pipeline construction, guaranteeing adherence to operational procedures and engineering standards. Ensure that pipeline works are completed on schedule to support efficient service delivery. Attend site meetings with public entities, service agencies, and developers concerning underground plant provisions. Accurately finalize all fibre cable projects and promptly update necessary documentation upon project conclusion. Handle order processing for fibre-related products, coordinating with building management and contractors for implementation activities. Supervise fibre splicing, termination, patching, and testing, ensuring compliance with safety protocols established in the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA). Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience. Exceptional communication abilities with a talent for engaging stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating strong time management skills. A Class 3 driving license is mandatory. A proactive and cooperative team member, eager to learn and grow.
