Our client is a globally recognised engineering and construction organisation focused on delivering complex projects in controlled and regulated environments. They are now looking for a Process Engineer to assist with the design, engineering, and delivery of process and utility systems for semiconductor and other advanced technology projects. Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle, from design development through construction, commissioning, and project handover.

About the role

Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will be accountable as part of the project team for managing all process-related challenges from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.

Job Description

• Create, develop, and review process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment sizing, and technical specifications.
• Design process systems, prepare utility balances, and perform capacity calculations aligned with project and client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to design reviews, tender preparation, technical evaluations, and vendor document reviews.
• Support construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up activities to help ensure systems achieve design and performance requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot process and site-related issues, and develop workable engineering solutions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant engineering standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Take part in risk assessments, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical, Bioengineering or a related engineering discipline relevant to process systems.
• Approximately 4-5 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biopharma, cleanroom or other controlled-environment projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of clean utilities, process piping, equipment sizing, P&IDs and engineering calculations is advantageous.
• Exposure to construction, commissioning, qualification or vendor coordination will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and process simulation or line-sizing tools is preferred.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to support project activities at different locations across North and East Singapore.
