Data Analyst - Finance/Banking

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate business strategies and planning activities, with the exception of change management initiatives.
• Streamline reporting processes and develop dashboards to monitor trade volumes, sales performance, and profit margins.
• Enhance reporting protocols and uphold the accuracy and reliability of data across all deliverables.
• Examine trade and financial data from internal sources to uncover trends and valuable insights.
• Support senior management with analytical tasks and collect feedback from stakeholders to guide decision-making.
• Engage in forums, committees, and internal governance functions.
• Investigate challenges affecting business performance and evaluate external service providers.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in the trade department to improve reporting tools and solutions.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry, specifically in trade or financial reporting.
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with report automation using Excel (VBA, Power Query) or Python.
• Understanding of banking systems and trade-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
