Senior/ Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals during patient consultations, treatments, and nursing activities in an outpatient environment. Prepare examination and procedure rooms, ensuring that all medical equipment, supplies, and medications are adequately stocked and ready for use. Administer vaccinations and assist with minor procedures, offering clear instructions and reassurance to both patients and their caregivers. Dispense medications as per prescriptions, including precise dosage calculations when necessary. Oversee complete patient visit processes, including registration, billing assistance, scheduling follow-up appointments, and coordinating procedures or admissions as needed. Maintain precise clinical records and necessary quality and operational documentation. Address patient inquiries via phone and in person, ensuring prompt follow-up and appropriate escalation when required. Collaborate with internal support functions regarding clinic operations and any facility or equipment issues as necessary. Provide support to colleagues and cover additional clinic responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Nursing. Valid nursing registration or practicing certification from the Singapore Nursing Board. A minimum of 2 years of patient care experience within a hospital or clinic setting (experience in an outpatient context is preferred). Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of completing clinical and administrative tasks effectively. A service-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate patient needs and respond appropriately. A collaborative team member who works well across various functions and adapts to the evolving priorities of the clinic. Effective communicator who takes responsibility for issues and actively works towards solutions.
