Job Description
- Provide exceptional Production Support services to the client's Channel stakeholders.
- Oversee availability, incident, problem, and capacity management for the designated applications.
- Address and resolve incidents, problems, and user inquiries through thorough analysis.
- Facilitate communication regarding incidents (SLA violations, Major Application Incidents, Logistics challenges) and ensure effective communication within the team, management, and department.
- Lead technical remediation efforts in accordance with established non-functional requirements.
- Demonstrate continual service improvement of processes and tasks through automation.
- Ensure adherence to essential processes and procedures while contributing to the definition of standards.
- Provide coaching and be open to receiving coaching to enhance both team and individual knowledge.
- Articulate complex technical issues to business users in an easily understandable manner.
- Support the implementation of effective knowledge management best practices within the team and the organization.
- Collaborate closely with 1st and 3rd level support as well as development teams to ensure incidents, problems, and user inquiries are resolved within SLA.
- Possess a strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM application architecture.
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting abilities in Control-m batch issues and SSIS packages.
- Exhibit strong automation capabilities, including Unix Shell scripting, Windows batch scripting, or other scripting languages.
- Have hands-on experience in writing and debugging scripts, code, and database queries.
- Engage in Software Engineering and Change Management.
- Understand and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) effectively.
- Have substantial experience with Middleware MQ, BMC, Control-M, and Remedy incident management tools.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documentation.
