Overview
- Facilitate comprehensive product costing processes to ensure precise pricing, planning, and project execution strategies. This position collaborates across departments to enhance the integrity of costing data and refine costing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product cost simulations for initiatives related to new products, inspection requests, quotes, and project transfers Prepare standard cost calculations, cost roll-ups, and regular cost updates to fulfill reporting requirements Maintain and refresh material master data and costing parameters within the ERP system to guarantee data accuracy Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to confirm inputs and ensure the timely provision of costing information Assist in meeting costing-related audit requirements by preparing schedules, documentation, and evidence as necessary Identify inefficiencies or gaps in costing processes and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts Aid in investigating cost variances or discrepancies and provide structured analysis for necessary follow-up actions Keep documentation organized and maintain version control for key costing assumptions, calculations, and reference materials
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in costing or FP&A within the manufacturing sector Proficient in using the SAP system
