Registered Architect (Healthcare Project)

Our client is a Singapore-based architecture, interior design and planning consultancy, focused on delivering human-centric environments spanning healthcare, research laboratories, eldercare and workplace developments.

Driven by design quality and reliable project delivery, they are seeking an experienced Architect / Senior Architect to strengthen their team.

While candidates with healthcare or laboratory project exposure will be given an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and coordinate architectural design development, ensuring effective technical coordination and documentation throughout all project phases.
• Manage the preparation, verification and on-time delivery of architectural drawings using CAD and BIM technologies.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to support smooth and efficient project execution.
• Chair site progress meetings and client meetings when required, and prepare meeting minutes.
• Confirm that designs, drawings and project deliverables meet applicable Singapore authority requirements.
• Use technical expertise and creative problem-solving to overcome design, coordination and construction challenges.
• Provide direction and promote a team culture that supports collaboration among junior architects, interior designers and draftsmen.
• Administer professional sub-consultancy agreements and oversee team performance when acting as the contractual lead consultant.
• Contribute to projects from design development through construction and final handover.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Experience managing projects from design stage through construction completion.
• Healthcare or laboratory project experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Experience working on projects valued at S$20 million or above is preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore authority requirements and building regulations.
• Familiarity with the PSSCOC form of contract is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM tools, including Revit; knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
• Board of Architects, Singapore registration and QP qualification are preferred, subject to the client's requirements.
