Position : Pre-sales Consultant (Cyber Security & SASE Architectures)

Experience : 3 yrs + Relevant

Budget : 8-12 LPA

Joining time : immediate to 30 days

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science Engg Or Equivalent

2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity pre-sales or solution consulting role

Responsibilities and Duties

· Engage with customers to assess their cybersecurity posture, identify risk areas, and understand data protection requirements.

· Develop and propose integrated solutions using Cybersecurity and SASE architectures, including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, and SD-WAN.

· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises.

· Convert client requirements into customized solutions and map them to suitable security technologies.

· Partner with OEMs, distributors, and product teams to ensure solution alignment and stay current with updates.

· Create SoWs (Scope of Work), BoMs (Bill of Materials), and respond to RFPs/RFIs.

· Assist sales teams with technical documentation, solution comparisons, and competitive positioning.

· Keep abreast of cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.

· Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and support post-sales technical handovers.

· Represent the organisation during client workshops, technical discussions, and security review meetings.

· Confirm that proposed solutions address customer needs during qualification and support technical validation.

· Share solution approaches and develop business cases aligned with client objectives.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and SASE frameworks.

· Hands-on experience with tools such as DLP, SIEM, ZTNA, and endpoint security.

· Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SD-WAN solutions.

· Ability to convert business requirements into practical technical architectures.

· Understanding of compliance standards including ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

· Experience in risk assessment, threat modeling, and posture evaluation.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.

· Expertise in producing technical documentation, including solution architecture, BoMs, and SoWs.

· Ability to independently lead PoCs and technical evaluations.

· Strong problem-solving skills along with consultative selling experience.

· Collaborative approach with the ability to work across sales, delivery, and OEM teams.

Preferred Certifications: One or more of the following (or equivalent):

· Cloudflare, Fortinet, Sentinel One, Cato Networks, Trellix, Checkpoint, Crowdstrike, Zscaler , PaloAlto PCNSE, Cisco , Netskope , CISA , CISM , AWS, AZURE , CEH, etc.
