As an MLOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing the next iteration of MoneyLion's machine learning platform and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include spearheading projects that facilitate the large-scale deployment of machine learning solutions. This requires you to proactively design, prototype, and continuously enhance the foundational machine learning infrastructure, effectively addressing bottlenecks and streamlining the modeling lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with AI DevOps, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and AI Engineers across MoneyLion to define, implement, and uphold best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, and prototype MLOps methodologies, tools, and frameworks to accelerate the machine learning lifecycle at MoneyLion.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and AI/ML Engineering teams to optimize workflows and decrease deployment timelines.
• Enhance automation levels in the development and deployment procedures of machine learning.
• Work closely with IT operations and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure platforms with various applications and processes.
• Establish and maintain systems for monitoring machine learning models in production, ensuring robust model governance.
• Manage cloud infrastructure costs effectively by monitoring and optimizing expenditures while ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Ensure the reliability of MLOps platforms and solutions, participating in an on-call rotation to respond to critical incidents when needed.

About You

• Strong Software Fundamentals: Experienced in software development standards and best practices within an enterprise environment, including code patterns, code reviews, test-driven development, and unit testing.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably with EKS, in a production setting, along with a comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components.
• Ability to evaluate and implement best practices and new technologies to improve application performance, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, complemented by effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experienced in designing and delivering applications that provide an exceptional user experience for data analysts and scientists.
• Skilled in maintaining multiple codebases and conducting code reviews or pair programming to ensure the production of high-quality code.
• Preferably familiar with and experienced in MLOps tools such as DVC, MLFlow, Metaflow, and Ray.
