Backend Developer

Essential Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in back-end software engineering within a senior capacity

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent hands-on experience)

• Extensive expertise and practical knowledge in Spring Boot and Java microservices development

• Proficient in using Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Istio for container management and service mesh implementation

• Demonstrated experience in developing integrations between different platforms utilizing OpenAPI, REST, SOAP, ISO8583

• Familiarity with Kafka, Apache Camel, and ActiveMQ is highly preferred

• Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps methodologies

• Understanding of prevalent security threats and corresponding mitigation strategies (including OWASP and secure coding standards)

• Previous experience in financial services, banking, or fintech sectors is advantageous

• Exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal English
