Market data lead

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for the market regarding all activities related to data migration and master data management (MDM) implementation.
• Take ownership of the market-specific data scope and ensure accountability is maintained by local data owners.
• Facilitate collaboration among business, IT, and vendor teams to carry out comprehensive data migration processes, which include data cleansing, enrichment, transformation, and thorough documentation.
• Oversee local data quality initiatives, address data issues, and ensure alignment of master data with the global data framework.
• Guarantee that MDM roles are assigned and adequately trained prior to go-live.
• Assist in testing, mock loads, cutover rehearsals, hypercare activities, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Recognize and mitigate data-related risks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of local master data frameworks, ownership, governance, and related business processes.
• Demonstrated experience in data migration, data cleansing, and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, ideally within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector.
• Understanding of data profiling, data quality management, ETL tools (such as SAP Data Services), and metadata management practices.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data-centric tools is advantageous.
• Awareness of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and local data governance standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Agile, proactive, results-oriented attitude with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in English and open to travel to support deployment efforts.
