M&E Engineer

• Main Contractor
• Up to $5,500 (depending on experience)
• Building projects experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager in planning, executing, and overseeing site works to help achieve timely completion of projects.
• Coordinate with consultants and manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring alignment on execution approach and quality requirements.
• Verify that works comply with contractual obligations, approved drawings, specifications, and agreed site procedures.
• Monitor variations, support claims, and assess cost impacts; assist in maintaining cost control within the approved project budget.
• Work with QA/QC teams to confirm that all works meet required quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Review project drawings, highlight inconsistencies, and handle change management with the design team according to established procedures.
• Keep and update inspection documentation, ensuring ongoing site compliance with the Project Quality Plan and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide reporting support to the Assistant Site Manager and Construction Manager, contributing to effective overall site governance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and relevant trades.
• Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and safety standards for building construction and M&E services.
