M365 / Modern Workplace Engineer

We are seeking a skilled M365 / Modern Workplace Engineer to become part of a large-scale Microsoft 365 transformation initiative aimed at enhancing enterprise workplace modernization efforts. This position is crucial for the successful execution of Microsoft 365 migration tasks, management of modern endpoints, and implementation of cloud workplace solutions, all while ensuring an optimal end-user experience throughout the migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the comprehensive delivery of enterprise Microsoft 365 migration projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, validation, and post-migration assistance.
• Conducting mailbox, Teams, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 tenant migrations utilizing tools such as MigrationWiz and various migration platforms.
• Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and more.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining modern workplace solutions by utilizing Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud-based endpoint management technologies.
• Setting up device compliance policies, establishing endpoint security baselines, managing application deployment, and overseeing device provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Creating and sustaining PowerShell scripts to automate administrative, migration, and operational functions.
• Troubleshooting intricate Microsoft 365, identity, authentication, and endpoint-related challenges through systematic root cause analysis.
• Facilitating Windows 11 deployments, managing cloud devices, and working with modern identity technologies.
• Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, DNS, and wireless networking environments that affect Microsoft workplace services.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, implementation guides, runbooks, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, infrastructure engineers, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Engaging in migration planning, testing, cutover activities, and post-implementation support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering Microsoft 365 migration or Modern Workplace transformation projects within large enterprise settings.
• Practical experience with migration tools.
• Advanced skills in administering Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint management, and configuring device compliance policies.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting, with experience in automating administrative and operational tasks.
• Good understanding of Windows 11 deployment and cloud-managed endpoint environments.
• Solid foundational knowledge of networking principles, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and related troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or DevOps methodologies would be a valuable asset.
