Internship Program - Quality Assurance Intern (Feb 2027 Intake)

Arvato Systems Malaysia, a globally recognized IT service solutions provider headquartered in Germany, has been driving digital transformation initiatives for businesses since 2005.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and digitally adept individuals to join our Arvato Systems Malaysia Internship Program (AIP). Our mission is to offer valuable opportunities for ambitious undergraduate students to gain practical experience in digital technologies, acquire relevant knowledge, and receive mentorship from our experienced team at Arvato Systems Malaysia—preparing them for successful careers in the industry.

This internship program features a specialized focus in Software Quality Assurance.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Participate in engaging IT projects primarily within the media department, gaining exposure to multiple platforms and efficient testing methodologies.
• Review and validate software requirements and functional specifications.
• Design and execute test plans and detailed test cases aligned with requirements, customer feedback, and project priorities.
• Document testing outcomes, provide insights, and suggest improvements based on analysis of test results and overall product quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Maintain professional communication across all levels within and outside the organization.
• Efficiently deliver testing efforts across multiple projects and tasks within tight deadlines.
• Adhere to Agile development methodologies integrated within our teams.
• Gain exposure to AI tools and utilize them effectively in testing processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, demonstrating flexibility to participate in both Manual and Test Automation activities based on project needs.
• Possess thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing lifecycle.
• Have experience with web services (REST, SOAP, Postman), and familiarity with JSON & XML data formats.
• Be experienced with databases (relational and NoSQL) and capable of creating simple queries.
• Understand traceability matrices and accurately map business requirements into test scenarios.
• Be knowledgeable in test process design and test case creation.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and adapt swiftly within a dynamic Agile environment.
• Have practical experience with test automation tools such as Robot Framework or Micro Focus UFT.
• Possess basic understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub workflows, or Azure DevOps.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to identify, communicate, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Be a proactive team player and self-starter, ready to work alongside developers.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Knowledge of Azure DevOps and other test management tools.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Basic Java knowledge, especially in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Preferred but not mandatory: Effective application of GenAI and Agentic AI in daily tasks.
• Preferred but not mandatory: ISTQB certification(s) and hands-on experience in API and UI automation.

Additional responsibilities include understanding the technology involved, contributing to assigned projects or learning areas, participating in technical implementations, completing deliverables on time and to quality standards, and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders. Interns are encouraged to engage in company-wide initiatives and events, while receiving continuous guidance and mentorship. Openness to constructive feedback and coaching is essential, as is representing our brand positively.

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student in the final semester of a Diploma, Degree, or Master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a growth-oriented attitude.
