Finance Director

We are on the lookout for a skilled and commercially savvy Finance Director to take charge of our finance department and facilitate the company's upcoming growth phase. The ideal candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and deliver strategic support for decision-making. This role demands a hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration with the leadership team to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the overall finance and accounting operations of the company
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance
• Provide strategic financial analysis to aid business decision-making
• Ensure adherence to local tax, statutory, and regulatory standards
• Oversee audits, financial controls, and risk management initiatives
• Enhance and refine financial systems, processes, and internal controls
• Collaborate with department leaders on budgeting, cost management, and performance evaluation
• Assist with fundraising, banking, investor relations, or board reporting as necessary
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the finance team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• Preferred professional qualification: CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, including leadership roles
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
• Experience in managing audits, tax issues, and internal controls
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Commercially focused with the ability to convert financial data into actionable business strategies
• Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel/financial modeling
• Experience in a rapidly growing company, SME, or regional business is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Singapore finance and regulatory landscape
• Experience engaging with senior leadership or in board-level reporting
• Background in scaling finance functions and optimizing processes
