Commercial Kitchen Plumbing Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced commercial plumber to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and service for piping systems within commercial kitchen settings. This position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on piping, water supply, and drainage systems for kitchen equipment in commercial environments. Inspect and maintain final utility connections (water, gas, and waste) to prevent leaks and reduce operational interruptions. Carry out regular preventive maintenance inspections on plumbing systems and equipment interfaces to detect potential issues. Ensure that all repair and maintenance activities align with local building codes, workplace safety standards, and sanitation guidelines. Swiftly diagnose and address urgent plumbing problems, such as blockages and pressure irregularities, in high-demand kitchen environments.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in plumbing. A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen plumbing is required. A valid plumbing license and relevant certifications are advantageous. Extensive knowledge of installation standards for commercial kitchen equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. A solid understanding of water supply, drainage, and gas line connections.
