BIM Coordinator (ACMV)

Key Responsibilities:

· Create, oversee, and sustain BIM models for Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.

· Develop comprehensive 3D models for ACMV systems, encompassing ductwork, piping, and ventilation elements, utilizing software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

· Perform clash detection and address conflicts between ACMV systems and additional building systems using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.

· Ensure compliance of all BIM models with industry and company standards, along with project-specific requirements.

· Serve as the main point of contact for BIM coordination pertaining to ACMV.

· Provide training and mentorship to junior team members regarding BIM processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

· At least 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination, ideally within ACMV or MEP sectors.

· BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent).

· Expertise in BIM software, including Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.

· In-depth understanding of ACMV systems, including principles of ductwork, piping, and ventilation design.
