Application Engineer (HSD + Photonics)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled High-Speed Digital & Optical Solutions Engineer to assist clients in the domains of AI data centers, semiconductor technologies, optical networking, and high-speed interconnect solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority in high-speed digital communications, optical technologies, and signal integrity.
• Provide support to customers during the validation and testing phases for technologies including 400G/800G/1.6T, SerDes, PCIe, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Silicon Photonics, and CXL.
• Conduct and provide guidance on jitter analysis, eye diagram evaluations, BER assessments, signal integrity analysis, and compliance testing.
• Assist in customer evaluations, proof of concepts (POCs), technical presentations, and securing design wins.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams to address customer needs and stay current with market developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in applications engineering, validation, test engineering, or solution development.
• In-depth understanding of PAM4, NRZ, SerDes, signal integrity, jitter, and BER.
• Practical experience with oscilloscopes, DCA, BERT, VNA, and optical test instruments.
• Familiarity with optical transceivers, including QSFP-DD and OSFP.
• Excellent customer engagement and technical consulting capabilities.
• Knowledge of standards such as IEEE, OIF, PCI-SIG, JEDEC, Ethernet, or CXL is advantageous.
