QAQC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections to ensure adherence to method statements and quality standards. Supervise subcontractor activities across different trades, ensuring timely identification and correction of defects. Develop and execute comprehensive QA/QC plans to ensure uniform quality throughout the project lifecycle. Generate precise QA/QC reports and support quality management submissions. Implement quality control measures based on site-specific materials and the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Create and oversee Site Memos to address non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive initiatives. Manage the execution of corrective actions in response to identified non-conformities. Collaborate with external organizations such as BCA for CONQUAS evaluations. Confirm that method statements comply with required approvals prior to execution. Monitor testing requirements in accordance with contract specifications and the Inspection Test Plan (ITP). Participate in site meetings related to QA/QC, landscape coordination, and client engagements, contributing effectively. Conduct inspections at precast and structural steel manufacturing facilities. Ensure smooth handover processes during inspections and resolve client-related defects during the Defect Liability Period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. At least 3 years of QA/QC experience within the construction industry, particularly in alteration and addition (A&A) projects. Strong knowledge of quality control protocols and industry benchmarks. Demonstrated capability to manage quality assurance responsibilities efficiently and effectively. Exceptional communication and coordination abilities for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
