Senior Staff Nurse, Urgent Care Center

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage to evaluate and prioritize patient care through thorough assessments. Carry out focused evaluations of patients, considering their medical history and current medications. Ensure patient comfort while providing safe, patient-centered care. Regularly monitor patient conditions, document assessments, and identify any changes. Support healthcare professionals during physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment procedures. Promptly initiate interventions when a patient's condition deteriorates or monitoring equipment indicates alarming findings. Assist in CPR and emergency protocols, closely cooperating with medical staff to stabilize patients. Effectively communicate care plans and treatment updates to patients and their families as needed. Collaborate with various departments and healthcare facilities to streamline admissions, patient transfers, and ongoing care. Aid in transferring critically ill or emergency patients to other medical institutions when required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory registration with the Singapore Nursing Board. An Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Emergency) is a valuable asset. At least 4 years of experience in an emergency care environment. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting. Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
