• Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
• Required Experience: 8+ years

• Contract Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension

Job Responsibilities:

• Linux & Oracle Private Cloud: Demonstrated expertise in RHEL/Oracle Linux, encompassing Linux server management, operating system upgrades, kernel patching, troubleshooting, RAID, LVM, VxVM/VXFS, VCS, VVR, CFS, Red Hat Cluster, Oracle VM/OLVM, and Oracle RAC/ASM.
• Virtualization – VMware: Proven experience in the design, implementation, and administration of VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN, including High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), vMotion, Storage vMotion, VM lifecycle management, patch management, upgrades, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
• Huawei FusionCompute: Practical knowledge of Huawei FusionCompute, FusionManager, and FusionAccess, covering cluster configuration, HA, DRS, Live Migration, Distributed Virtual Switch (DVS), Fibre Channel storage, resource pool management, capacity planning, and VMware-to-FusionCompute migrations.
• AIX & Power Infrastructure: Extensive experience with AIX, VIO Server, LPAR, HACMP, GPFS, NIM, LPM, LVM, MPIO, NPIV, SEA/NIB, including AIX upgrades/migrations, Power Systems management, and data center migration initiatives.
• Storage & SAN: Familiarity with Huawei OceanDisk, SAN infrastructure management, RAID, LUN management, storage provisioning, zoning, snapshots, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and SmartTier in SSD/HDD storage environments.
• Automation & Infrastructure Management: Proficiency in using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Spacewalk/SUMA for package management, server patching, firmware upgrades, configuration management, and monitoring/tuning infrastructure performance.
• Migration, DR & Project Delivery: Experience in data center migrations, P2P/P2X migrations, VMware-to-FusionCompute transitions, Solaris-to-X migrations, AIX/Power migrations, Lift & Shift projects, operational acceptance testing (OAT), and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning exercises.
• Troubleshooting & Operations: Strong skills in providing L2/L3 infrastructure support, including OS/hardware/network/storage troubleshooting, filesystem and user management, NFS/DNS/autofs, backup and recovery solutions, performance analysis, incident resolution, and overseeing production/DR environments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
