Research Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate various projects, including the submission of ethics applications and related follow-up tasks. Aid in the creation of research protocols and thorough study documentation. Execute primary data collection through methods such as surveys, interviews, and chart reviews, followed by data entry, initial data cleaning, and basic analytical tasks. Carry out quantitative and/or qualitative analyses with guidance. Conduct literature reviews, including systematic reviews. Participate in the development of scientific manuscripts and reports, supporting the sharing of findings through seminars and presentations. (For candidates with experience) Utilize specialized expertise in health economics evaluation, implementation research, artificial intelligence in health, or health services outcomes research. Perform independent systematic reviews and meta-analyses, in addition to advanced statistical analyses and data interpretation. Assist in the preparation of grant applications, encompassing conceptual notes, methodologies, and budgeting considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in health sciences, public health, life sciences, psychology, social sciences, or a related discipline. At least two years of experience in health-related research. Proficient in using Stata, SPSS, and/or NVivo software. A publication record is a plus, especially authorship on scientific papers. Preferred: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
