Supply Chain Operations Analyst (Asset Management/Shipping - contract role)

Our client, a prominent global technology firm, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to enhance APAC logistics, inventory, and asset management operations. This position will collaborate effectively with internal teams, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), courier services, and regional units to ensure seamless fulfillment and foster operational enhancements.

This is a 1-year contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete APAC fulfillment process, including managing orders, backorders, returns, collections, and tracking service level agreements (SLAs).
• Track logistics and inventory dashboards to identify potential risks, backlogs, and stock needs, coordinating resolutions with appropriate teams and service providers.
• Assist in asset and inventory management tasks, including cycle counts, variance audits, maintenance of inventory records, and establishing new stocking locations.
• Engage with courier and 3PL vendors, assess performance, develop scorecards, and assist in validating invoices and resolving issues.
• Facilitate cross-border shipments, manage customs/import-export documentation, and support regional logistics initiatives.
• Generate operational reports, dashboards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and trackers, while conducting system and transaction audits as necessary.
• Examine logistics data to pinpoint opportunities for process improvements, decrease manual tasks, and boost operational efficiency utilizing Excel and AI-driven automation.
• Contribute to regional projects, system and process modifications, and the deployment of new sites or hubs.
• Handle operational escalations and engage with stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or asset/inventory management.
• Proficient in utilizing AI for process optimization and data analysis.
• Experience in asset management and inventory control specifically within logistics or warehouse settings.
• Robust analytical and process improvement abilities with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
• Familiarity with courier and 3PL vendors, IT equipment distribution, or warehousing is a distinct advantage.
• Preferred experience with APAC cross-border shipping, customs, and import/export documentation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
