Project Director, IIoT, Connectivity & Cloud Platforms

Overview

We are looking for a Project Director to lead our digital transformation efforts, promoting the vision of autonomous manufacturing through the creation and implementation of cutting-edge industrial software platforms across our global manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and execute the vision for autonomous manufacturing, setting a worldwide benchmark for innovation in the manufacturing sector. Formulate strategic technology roadmaps and articulate business cases while ensuring coherence with emerging technologies. Work closely with international teams to gather customer insights, requirements, and use cases. Cultivate relationships with senior management to ensure effective tracking of business outcomes. Supervise compliance and technical support for software development partnerships. Foster a collaborative environment that empowers team members and aligns with corporate values. Specify requirements for the scalable deployment of foundational platforms, including IIoT and cloud technologies. Design robust middleware platforms to support global manufacturing, utilizing major cloud services. Architect and integrate top-tier AI and MLOps solutions with mobile and IIoT applications. Encourage the development of reusable technology capabilities centered on AI and intelligent automation. Collaborate across various departments to facilitate large-scale application development and ensure seamless adoption processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial connectivity, IIoT platforms, cloud technologies, or digital manufacturing. Over 8 years of experience leading engineering teams in delivering extensive technology solutions. Proven track record in implementing global industrial connectivity and middleware platforms across various production sites. Expertise in designing cloud-native architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Comprehensive understanding of MLOps, AI infrastructure, and enterprise integration methodologies. Knowledge of edge computing, event-driven architectures, and container technologies. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL, as well as modern web technologies. Strong grasp of distributed systems and enterprise analytics, with a focus on industrial data integration. Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure as code. Exceptional leadership abilities with a strategic outlook and the capacity to influence executive stakeholders. A demonstrated enthusiasm for emerging technologies, particularly in AI, cloud computing, and autonomous manufacturing.
