Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage project programs, ensuring adherence to contract stipulations through Baseline, Working, and Recovery Programs.
• Conduct frequent progress assessments and review detailed management reports produced by the planning team.
• Set and uphold documentation standards for project plans, timelines, and progress updates.
• Carry out intricate schedule analyses and convert data into strategic insights for upper management.
• Maintain a Change matrix to assess variations, claims, and significant occurrences within projects.
• Track progress using measurement tools, including histograms, S-curves, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Advise project teams on critical path assessments and strategies for schedule optimization.
• Facilitate performance monitoring through consistent reporting and comprehensive schedule risk analyses to uncover systemic obstacles.
• Promote continuous improvement by keeping a lessons learned registry for upcoming projects and bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of pertinent experience in Civil/Building projects in a managerial or leadership role.
• Expertise in project management software, particularly Primavera P6, is required.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for identifying macro-level trends and making strategic choices.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective communication with a variety of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• In-depth understanding of construction industry standards, methodologies, EOT protocols, and complex sequencing.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and reliability in scheduling data and reports.
