Job Description

• Directing regional demand forecasting and supply planning efforts to guarantee optimal product availability across various markets.
• Partnering with commercial teams, distributors, and manufacturing collaborators to align demand needs with supply capabilities.
• Leading inventory optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing stock availability while reducing write-offs, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Overseeing regional Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and coordinating cross-functional planning reviews.
• Formulating supply risk mitigation strategies and aiding business continuity through scenario planning and proactive measures.
• Building and managing supplier relationships, conducting performance reviews, negotiating contracts, and implementing supplier development programs.
• Providing leadership, direction, and performance oversight to local market stakeholders while fostering continuous process improvements within the supply chain function.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, procurement, or related roles within a healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing context.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, managing both demand/supply planning and supplier management processes.
• In-depth knowledge of S&OP, forecasting techniques, inventory control, and supply chain optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and data analytics, paired with strong commercial insight.
• Proven capability to engage stakeholders across different countries and functions.
• Exceptional negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in team leadership and spearheading continuous improvement projects.
