Assistant Manager/Manager - Electrical

Position Overview

We are in search of a talented individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager/Manager - Electrical. This role presents a chance to spearhead projects while ensuring top-notch quality in electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Address site-related challenges and collaborate effectively with clients. Exhibit strong engineering expertise and a thorough understanding of building services regulations. Guarantee adherence to ISO quality standards for materials and installations provided by suppliers and subcontractors. Supervise and manage the quality of materials and equipment utilized in subcontractor installations. Generate shop drawings and oversee the coordination of technical documentation. Formulate work schedules and engage in both client and internal meetings. Support daily operations, focusing on quality and safety management. Ensure seamless coordination with the main contractor to minimize rework. Manage site materials and equipment to optimize resource usage and minimize waste. Cultivate effective communication with suppliers and subcontractors to avert delays in project timelines. Identify and rectify nonconformance issues to mitigate defects. Explore innovative technologies and installation methods to boost productivity. Track on-site progress and maintain open lines of communication with subcontractors and suppliers. Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant management experience in an M&E subcontractor setting, totaling over 8 years of experience in the M&E engineering industry. Knowledge of ISO 9000 and OHSAS 18000 standards. Certification as an Internal Quality Auditor. Completion of the Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.
