BIM Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Create and uphold the BIM Execution Plan
• Foster and sustain productive relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Oversee project scope and schedule, ensuring tracking and execution through to project completion.
• Possess a robust software background in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Civil3D.
• Develop and implement Revit models throughout all project phases, adhering to company or client standards and creating new templates as necessary.
• Comprehend and proactively apply the requisite LOD and CoBie data at each project stage according to specific project needs.
• Conduct model audits and devise optimization strategies to maintain productivity within project teams.

Participate in and lead VDC and technical meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Sub-contractors, producing essential documentation.

Execute quality control on all models supplied by BIM coordinators/authors involved in the project.

Collaborate closely with the project team to coordinate, organize, and generate construction drawings and documentation utilizing BIM technologies.

Engage with all parties within the contract and interface with contract BIM Managers and/or BIM Coordinators.

Establish, implement, and lead clash detection analysis to identify, address, and validate design and construction conflicts among contract and interfacing parties.

Update, manage, monitor, and track all modifications to models.

Ensure the accuracy of models/drawings in alignment with BIM standards and project workflow criteria/checklists.

Encourage innovation and promote the adoption of advanced tools/technologies to enhance the use of BIM within the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Over 6 years of professional experience leading Infrastructure projects
• Extensive experience in a work-sharing environment (CDE) with demonstrated proficiency in 3D coordination software.
• Expertise in Revit Architecture with proven practical application and integration within the Autodesk Suite.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with construction personnel, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of BIM in Civil 3D, 4D/5D, and Bentley platforms is a plus.
• Ability to lead others, adhere to tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with clients.

• Preferred industry BIM Certification (Revit Professional, BCA Certification)
• A BIM Management Certificate or Specialist Diploma in BIM is mandatory
