Role Details

In the capacity of a Software Engineer, your primary emphasis will be on backend engineering, although frontend responsibilities will also be a crucial aspect of your work. You will engage in the complete software development lifecycle, taking charge of backend-heavy solutions that demand strong logical reasoning, clean architecture, and the foresight to anticipate real-world usage patterns. While this role does involve some exposure to frontend technologies, success will largely hinge on your backend expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services utilizing Java and Kotlin
• Develop and maintain frontend components with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Collaborate with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL databases to enhance application functionality
• Create clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to enterprise engineering standards
• Engage in code reviews and collaborative development practices, including pair programming
• Independently diagnose issues and deliver robust solutions
• Fulfill coding tasks and project assignments in strict accordance with documented requirements

Essential Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience in developing applications using Java and Kotlin within a corporate or enterprise context
• Experience in full stack development, including proficiency with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Practical experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Exceptional problem-solving and logical reasoning capabilities
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Proven track record of delivering functional code with minimal supervision
