Senior Supply Chain Analyst

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in the development and upkeep of Master Data essential for business operations that affect the user experience. Key systems involved include, but are not limited to, SAP IBP and the SAP S/4 system. This role requires close collaboration with business process owners and daily users to implement data creation and maintenance procedures that align with established service and quality expectations.

Master Data Creation and Maintenance:

• Gather and verify data as per requests for creation and maintenance
• Process, update, and disseminate newly established master data records and results (including Location Product, Production Data Structure (PDS), PDS Activity, PDS Resource, PDS Component, Transportation Lane, Resource, etc.)
• Aim for high accuracy and efficiency in handling master data requests, processing them according to current standards and procedures

Data Quality:

• Execute requested data quality checks and analytical reports as needed
• Engage in testing and the development of new Change Requests and reports aimed at enhancing data quality
• Recognize and escalate any noticeable trends and patterns related to data requests or integrity issues
• Propose improvements for processes and effective enhancements to elevate user experience

Project and Business-As-Usual Support:

• Assist in ad hoc initiatives to bulk create or modify master data in alignment with new project launches, business process updates, or other project activities
• Implement mass changes following master data procedures
• Identify opportunities for data cleansing and proactively address data quality issues
• Manage the incoming queue of new requests alongside unplanned needs to meet project and launch timelines

Incident and Problem Management:

• Offer assistance and feasibility assessments in incident and problem management scenarios
• Prepare user and support documentation
• Collaborate with the Application Management System team to ensure effective incident follow-up and resolution

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a production or business environment, or a comparable combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years of experience in ERP Master Data creation, especially focusing on Material/Item Masters
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in SAP S/4 or SAP IBP
• Capable of collecting, organizing, processing, and distributing a large volume of requests and transactions within enterprise-level master data systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• User-centric approach with strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and system enhancements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite required
• Familiarity with databases and database processes preferred for day-to-day tasks
