Essential Skills Required

1. Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR): Expertise in investigation, evidence acquisition, log correlation, and creation of playbooks in Cloud, On-Premise, and Hybrid settings.
2. Security Operations Tooling: Proficient with EDR, NDR, and SIEM technologies.
3. Cloud Security Expertise: Experience in investigating and addressing cyber incidents utilizing Cloud-native security and forensic tools.

Job Summary

We are in search of a Cyber Security Operations Engineer who possesses over 3 years of experience in DFIR and Cloud Security. The role involves investigating incidents, analyzing log data, leading response initiatives, and sustaining incident response frameworks in hybrid environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Incident Investigation & DFIR: Utilize forensic tools to investigate cyber incidents; analyze logs to uncover unauthorized activities, determine root causes, and implement breach mitigation strategies.
• Incident Response & Collaboration: Coordinate incident response calls, collaborate with stakeholders, and conduct post-incident reviews to improve workflows and controls.
• Documentation & Playbooks: Create incident response plans, develop playbooks, and compile detailed investigation reports for both technical and executive audiences.
• Operational Readiness: Serve as a rotational duty officer, offering emergency response and standby support outside of normal working hours as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience: A Diploma/Degree in IT/Cybersecurity with a minimum of 3+ years in Cloud Security and DFIR.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in EDR, NDR, SIEM, digital forensics tools, along with a solid understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCSP, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, GCFR, GEIR, MCFE, or EnCE.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities, with a capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
