AI/ML Engineer

About the Position

We are in search of an AI/ML Engineer who possesses extensive, practical knowledge in the design, construction, and implementation of production-quality Generative AI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions on the Azure cloud platform. This role encompasses full-stack AI engineering, covering model development, orchestration, deployment, and operations—making it an excellent fit for individuals who excel at the convergence of applied machine learning, LLM engineering, and scalable cloud architecture.

In this role, you will engage in transformative AI projects, creating intelligent systems that integrate LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and autonomous agents into robust, enterprise-caliber applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI Service along with the wider Azure AI ecosystem.
• Create and enhance LLM orchestration pipelines, prompt engineering methodologies, and AI evaluation frameworks to guarantee quality, reliability, and performance.
• Architect and execute vector search and retrieval systems utilizing Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or equivalent technologies.
• Develop scalable, production-ready data pipelines using Python and PySpark, including feature engineering and distributed data processing.
• Build, train, and fine-tune Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP models, managing their lifecycle via Azure Machine Learning.
• Oversee API development and model deployment, employing MLOps best practices such as CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
• Enforce Responsible AI, AI Governance, and explainability protocols to ensure ethical, transparent, and compliant AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (data engineering, product management, and business stakeholders) to convert requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Remain up-to-date with emerging GenAI/Agentic AI frameworks and assess their relevance to business applications.

Essential Skills

• Proficient programming skills in Python and PySpark
• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, and Generative AI application development
• Extensive knowledge of Azure OpenAI Service and the Azure AI ecosystem
• Experience in developing end-to-end AI solutions with Azure Machine Learning
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering, LLM orchestration, and AI evaluation frameworks
• Experience with Vector Databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, etc.)
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and model optimization
• Experience in constructing scalable data pipelines, feature engineering, and distributed data processing
• Experience with API development, model deployment, MLOps, monitoring, and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI, AI Governance, and model explainability

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
• Knowledge of multi-agent systems, AI observability, and LLM fine-tuning
• Experience in developing conversational AI, copilots, and enterprise AI solutions
• Exposure to Financial Services / Capital Markets use cases
