We are representing a reputable A1 Main Contractor known for its excellence in executing significant building and infrastructure projects across Singapore. To support their ongoing project expansion, they are seeking to hire Senior Quantity Surveyors to enhance their commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee pre- and post-contract quantity surveying and commercial management functions.
• Create and evaluate tender documents, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender assessments.
• Identify, assess, and negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Administer subcontract management, progress claims, variations, payments, and final accounts.
• Track project expenditures, budgets, and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and review variation orders, extensions of time, loss & expense, and contractual claims.
• Compile cost reports, forecasts, and commercial updates for the project management team.
• Engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial issues.
• Recognize commercial risks and assist in implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all documentation meets contractual obligations and compliance standards.
• Support the Project Manager and the commercial team in meeting project cost and contractual goals.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in building construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of measurement, tender processes, contract administration, cost management, and subcontractor oversight.
• Experience with variation orders, progress claims, final accounts, and contract claims.
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices in Singapore.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Location: Based on project requirements (HQ / South / North)
• Working hours: 5 Days a week
• Compensation: Up to S$6,500 plus Bonus (Salary based on experience & qualifications)
