Position Summary

A prominent high-tech manufacturing company is in search of a seasoned Electrical & ELV specialist to contribute to a significant facility development project in Singapore.

You will serve as the technical authority for electrical and ELV systems, engaging in design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. This role entails evaluating technical designs, collaborating with EPC contractors and suppliers, and ensuring essential facility systems comply with operational, safety, and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

. Lead the technical aspects of electrical and ELV systems throughout the project lifecycle.

. Evaluate design submissions, RFIs, and suggested design modifications.

. Deliver technical expertise in power distribution, power quality, emergency power, and critical power infrastructure.

. Analyze power system studies, protection coordination, and control system designs.

. Offer technical insights on FMCS, SCADA, fire alarm, security, and communications systems.

. Assess proposed solutions from technical, cost, schedule, operational, and maintainability viewpoints.

. Engage in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.

. Collaborate with EPC contractors, consultants, and equipment suppliers.

. Partner with Production, Process Engineering, Facilities, and EHS stakeholders.

. Assist in the technical evaluation and procurement of major electrical and ELV systems.

. Provide technical guidance during construction, commissioning, qualification, and handover stages.

. Ensure adherence to relevant Singapore regulations, standards, and utility requirements.

Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

. 8+ years of experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, industrial, data centre, or other high-tech facility projects.

. Proficient in design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover processes.

. Extensive understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, power quality, protection coordination, and critical power infrastructure.

. Experience with FMCS/SCADA, fire alarm, security, communications, and other ELV systems.

. Familiar with EPC project delivery, design management, and change management processes.

. Knowledge of Singapore electrical regulations, standards, and utility connection requirements.

. Professional Engineer registration or Licensed Electrical Worker certification is a plus.

. Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.
