Embedded Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join our dedicated firmware and software development team. In this role, you will play a key part in the creation of embedded software, firmware, and SDK solutions that support our SparkGrid optical communication products.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SDK and firmware software for various chips and devices.
• Engage in system development, maintenance, and software updates.
• Create and implement software features driven by product specifications and customer needs.
• Design software architecture and application code to optimize system performance, quality, reliability, and security.
• Conduct software integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, RTL, validation, and system teams throughout product development and launch.
• Develop software utilities, APIs, diagnostic instruments, and support applications.
• Own assigned development projects and produce technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in embedded C/C++ development (open to recent graduates).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and embedded system development.
