AI Engineer

We are seeking a talented Python engineer who possesses a robust background in backend or platform engineering and has hands-on experience with AI-driven products, LLM applications, or Generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the enterprise LLM gateway and SDK maintenance.
• Design and manage the workflow runtime.
• Develop and sustain shared services utilized by AI agents.
• Address cross-functional platform issues within the Core Team, including multi-tenancy, rate limiting, quota management, usage metering, and the internal APIs that facilitate these features.
• Create foundational platform capabilities for AI applications, such as model provider gateways, workflow runtimes, subscription and entitlement management, agent harness functionalities, and file management systems.

Essential Skills:

• 2-6 years of experience in Backend Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Proficient in Python development.
• Familiarity with FastAPI or comparable backend frameworks.
• Extensive API design and backend system development experience.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining production-grade backend applications, services, or APIs.
• Capability to independently manage and deliver engineering components.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered applications, Generative AI products, LLM integrations, copilots, or AI workflows.
• Excellent communication, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to AWS AgentCore.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Temporal, Airflow, or Step Functions.
• Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
• Experience in multi-tenant platforms.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Fastify, or Next.js.
• Background in internal platform, SDK, or developer tooling.
