Core Banking Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, enhance, and maintain applications developed in C and Java that are utilized in core banking operations, ensuring these systems are secure, reliable, and perform at optimal levels.
• Create financial algorithms, data structures, and system interfaces to facilitate seamless integration between banking systems.
• Follow regulatory protocols, security measures, and internal compliance standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct thorough testing, diagnostics, and debugging to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
• Generate clear and detailed technical documentation for all features and components developed.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proficient programming skills in C or Java, preferably with experience in banking or financial system development.

Expertise in:

• Unix/Linux operating systems
• Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL databases
• Eclipse IDE, Jasper, XML technologies
• Microsoft Office software
• Familiarity with banking products such as Deposits and Loans is advantageous.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and a strong commitment to data security principles.
• Excellent analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
