Senior Officer, Trade Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the processing of import and export bills, including trade bill transactions, advice, and settlements. Perform initial reviews on all import and export documentation. Collaborate with clients to correct any document discrepancies and supervise the acceptance of import bills. Oversee the processing of forfaiting and other refinancing trade bills. Collect letters of credit (L/Cs) and shipping documents from clients, respond to inquiries related to bills, and ensure documentation is complete. Generate statistical reports as needed. Conduct compliance reviews. Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in banking, specifically in trade finance. In-depth knowledge of UCP 600 and a strong background in reviewing import and export shipping documentation. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and operate independently. Proven track record of efficiency and precision in completing tasks. Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively. Excellent analytical capabilities with a meticulous attention to detail, particularly in financial statement analysis.
