Senior .NET Engineer Production Support

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain applications utilizing C#, .NET Framework (.NET 4.5+), frontend frameworks, and SQL Server in a mission-critical production setting.
• Assume complete ownership of designated modules, encompassing development, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Deliver L2/L3 production support, which includes incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and long-term solutions.
• Oversee and prioritize high-volume work queues and operational tasks, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Promote code quality and maintainability through refactoring and minimizing technical debt.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address integration and system dependencies.
• Evaluate and endorse technical designs, code, and documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Anticipate risks and suggest enhancements to improve system performance, stability, and observability.
• Employ monitoring and logging tools to identify issues promptly, analyze system behavior, and enhance reliability.

Essential Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of practical experience in .NET development within enterprise environments.
• Solid backend skills in:C#, ASP.NET / MVC (required), SQL Server / Oracle DB (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
• Frontend proficiency in:AngularJS OR ReactJS (at least one required, hands-on)Experience with modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in:Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) / production support settings, Incident management, RCA, and ownership of issues
• Required experience in Public Sector / Government projects
• Preferred experience in domain systems such as healthcare, insurance, or other extensive transactional systems
• Strong knowledge of:Multi-tier architecture and system integrations, Secure coding practices
• Practical experience with:Version control (Git / TFS), Structured release/delivery processes (CI/CD exposure preferred), Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., logging, alerting, performance monitoring)
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with excellent investigation and troubleshooting skills, capable of analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions in production settings.
• Proven ability to thrive in SLA-driven environments
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Able to start on short notice (preferably ≤ 1 month)

• Experience with large-scale, high-transaction systems
