Senior M&E Engineer - Main Contractor

Our client is a reputable main contractor known for its successful execution of large-scale building and development projects in Singapore, providing substantial project exposure and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee M&E operations in collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, including managing drawings, submissions, materials, and method statements.
• Track site progress, ensuring quality and adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage subcontractor coordination, work sequences, and troubleshoot technical/site issues to prevent delays and conflicts.
• Facilitate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and oversee authority inspections.
• Handle M&E documentation, progress reports, O&M manuals, and project records.
• Assist in fulfilling WSH requirements, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating permit-to-work processes.
• Contribute to M&E planning, work schedules, and lead times.
• Support Value Engineering efforts and initiatives aimed at cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant M&E construction experience with main or M&E contractors.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, mixed-development, or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary/plumbing, lifts & escalators, and swimming pool systems.
• Experience in M&E installation, coordination, and T&C processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and manage project deliverables effectively.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Location: Based on project requirements
• Working hours: 5 Days with overtime
• Salary: Up to S$6,500 plus Bonus (Salary will be commensurate with experience & qualifications)
