Internal Auditor

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned auditor to spearhead internal audits across multiple regions, assessing risks and delivering actionable insights. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen governance and enhance internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement internal audits within organizations across designated regions.
• Generate risk hypotheses and perform data analytics and risk assessments during the planning stage.
• Develop clear, evidence-based audit findings and actionable recommendations during fieldwork.
• Conduct follow-up audits and communicate results and reports to senior management.
• Ensure that audit workpapers and documentation adhere to established Internal Audit methodologies and quality benchmarks.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies, programs, data analytics capabilities, and operational processes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data analytics and technology to boost audit efficiency.
• Provide advisory support to management on internal control issues and related initiatives as needed.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to encourage best practices in risk management and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in external/internal auditing or accounting, ideally within multinational corporations.
• Previous experience or familiarity with the shipping or logistics sector is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities accompanied by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in report writing.
• Willingness to travel frequently across designated regions.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• A positive disposition and ability to thrive under pressure.
