Senior Manager – Design Management

Job Overview:

• Position Summary
• Lead the design management operations for a variety of infrastructure initiatives throughout India, ensuring excellence in design, fostering workplace innovation, promoting sustainability, and preparing for execution in campus developments, workplace transformations, fit-outs, and infrastructure projects.
• Core Responsibilities
• Oversee design management for Corporate Fit-outs, Greenfield Office Buildings, Workplace Transformations, and Infrastructure Projects in various locations across India.
• Manage the design process from Concept and Schematic Design through Detailed Design, Tender Documentation, and GFC deliverables.
• Review and enhance drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents to improve quality, functionality, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and uphold design standards, specifications, and governance frameworks that align with NBC 2016, ECBC, IGBC, LEED sustainability targets, and organizational mandates.
• Collaborate with Architects, PMCs, Consultants, Contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, including MEP and Technology specialists.
• Conduct design evaluations and site inspections to ensure compliance with approved design intentions and facilitate prompt resolution of design and execution challenges.
• Promote value engineering, innovative solutions, the use of new materials, workplace strategies, and sustainability-focused initiatives.
• Track design progress, proactively identify risks, and guarantee the timely completion of critical deliverables.
• Facilitate effective documentation, communication, and alignment with business, project, and operational stakeholders.

Technical Qualifications:

• Education
• B. Arch / M. Arch or equivalent, with substantial experience in Design Management.
• Demonstrable experience in corporate workplace design, large campus developments, commercial projects, or fit-out initiatives.
• Familiarity with Green Building, Workplace Strategy, and Sustainable Infrastructure practices is preferred.
