Senior Developer

Job Summary

This hybrid Sr Developer role is centered on designing, building, and optimizing scalable solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Agentforce to enable complex IT business support operations. The position includes end-to-end ownership of data integration configuration and automation workflows that strengthen service quality, deliver actionable insights, and improve both customer and employee experiences—while staying aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust Salesforce Data Cloud solutions that support efficient data unification and segmentation for critical IT business support processes and reporting requirements.

Develop and configure Salesforce Agentforce capabilities to streamline case management and service workflows, enabling IT business support teams to resolve issues faster and with greater accuracy.

Optimize data models and mapping within Salesforce Data Cloud to maintain data quality, improve system performance, and deliver dependable analytics outputs for business stakeholders.

Configure automation triggers and orchestration in Salesforce Agentforce to reduce manual effort, improve response times, and ensure consistent service delivery for internal and external customers.

Partner with IT business support stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into scalable Salesforce configurations that increase productivity and strengthen service reliability.

Create integration patterns between Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise systems to ensure secure, timely data exchange that enables accurate reporting and informed decision making.

Conduct impact analysis, estimation, and technical design for enhancements and new features, ensuring solutions are maintainable, reusable, and aligned with platform best practices.

Review and refine existing Salesforce implementations to uncover performance bottlenecks and configuration gaps, and recommend improvements that enhance user experience and system stability.

Develop complete unit and functional test scenarios for Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce features to support defect-free releases and predictable behavior in production environments.

Provide direction and technical support to IT business support teams during deployment and hypercare to ensure smooth adoption and minimal disruption to business operations.

Document solution architectures, configuration steps, and operational procedures clearly and in a structured format so cross-functional teams can support and evolve the platform effectively.

Track production usage and error trends for Salesforce solutions, then implement corrective enhancements that reduce incidents and increase platform reliability for business users.

Coordinate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure that data handling in Salesforce Data Cloud follows organizational policies and regulatory requirements, supporting safe innovation.

Qualifications

Seven to ten years of experience as a developer or senior developer in enterprise environments, with a strong focus on complex business system implementations and support.

Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud configuration, including data ingestion, identity resolution, and audience creation to produce meaningful business insights.

Proven experience working with Salesforce Agentforce features, including case workflows, routing, automation, and service experience optimization in IT business support settings.

Established background in IT business support domains such as incident handling, request fulfillment, and service management processes, with the ability to map these needs to Salesforce capabilities.

Ability to design and implement data integration mechanisms, including API-based data flows and batch processes, connecting Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise data sources.

Strong knowledge of application lifecycle practices, including version control, deployment strategies, and environment management, to maintain stability in hybrid work models.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose complex platform issues and deliver practical solutions that minimize downtime and rework.

Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting solution options and tradeoffs clearly to support collaborative decision making.

Familiarity with modern development and configuration practices across the Salesforce ecosystem, along with willingness to continuously learn new features related to Data Cloud and Agentforce.
