Senior Developer

Job Summary

Hiring a Sr Developer with eight to ten years of experience to design and build secure, scalable applications using .NET Web API, Java, and nUnit for an MNC in a hybrid day shift model with no travel. This role delivers high-quality enterprise solutions for hi tech clients while maintaining robust testing, performance optimization, and long-term maintainability across complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build strong application components using .NET Web API and Java to deliver scalable, maintainable enterprise solutions aligned with business objectives and technical standards.
• Create secure and efficient service endpoints and integration workflows that support dependable communication between distributed systems and external applications.
• Develop clean, well structured unit tests using nUnit to achieve high reliability test coverage and early detection of defects across application modules.
• Improve application performance by evaluating execution patterns and refining data access logic to enhance responsiveness and efficient resource utilization.
• Work with cross functional teams in a hybrid model to refine requirements, clarify technical constraints, and ensure a shared understanding of solution architecture.
• Review and refactor existing code bases to strengthen readability, modularity, and alignment with organizational coding guidelines and best practices.
• Lead implementation of error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies to enable proactive issue detection and stable production operations.
• Coordinate application deployment tasks by preparing build configurations, validating release artifacts, and supporting smooth rollouts during day shift operations.
• Assist with incident analysis and defect resolution by reproducing issues, tracing root causes, and applying sustainable corrective changes.
• Document technical designs, service contracts, and testing approaches to support knowledge sharing and long term maintainability across teams.
• Partner with product and architecture stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility, estimate development effort, and align on delivery timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement by proposing tooling enhancements, process refinements, and automation initiatives that increase productivity.
• Ensure adherence to organizational quality and security standards by following review processes and addressing identified technical risks.

Qualifications

• Have eight to ten years of progressive software development experience with demonstrated consistent ownership of complex .NET and Web API solutions.
• Possess strong hands on expertise with .NET frameworks and Web API development, including experience building scalable, secure, and reusable service layers.
• Demonstrate solid proficiency in Java programming to create interoperable components and backend services that integrate seamlessly with .NET based systems.
• Show advanced experience in unit testing using nUnit, including building comprehensive test suites and maintaining test driven development practices.
• Leverage prior exposure to hi tech industry domains, where solutions support innovative products, platforms, or digital services for technology focused clients.
• Work effectively in a hybrid work environment using collaboration tools and structured communication to maintain alignment across onsite and remote participants.
• Confirm ability to work exclusively in day shift schedules while coordinating with global stakeholders through clear documentation and planned interactions.
