SAP BASIS Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee SAP environments such as Development, QA, Production, and DR systems with guidance from senior personnel
• Assist in SAP system administration tasks and routine operational duties
• Support SAP installation, configuration, and maintenance efforts
• Conduct transport management functions and aid in system refresh and restoration activities
• Carry out regular system monitoring and proactively identify and report issues
• Help in diagnosing SAP system problems and participate in root cause analysis
• Provide support for SAP HANA administration and SAP Solution Manager tasks
• Engage in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and support initiatives
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams to meet business needs
• Adhere to established procedures and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts

Technical Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• Familiarity with SAP system monitoring, administration, and support functions
• Basic understanding of SAP HANA and SAP Business Suite environments
• Experience with transport management, client copy, system refresh, or backup and restore processes
• Introductory knowledge of SAP Solution Manager
• Comprehension of operating systems and fundamental database concepts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 support framework

Additional Responsibilities:

• SAP Basis certification or equivalent SAP training
• Preferred Skill
• Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, or cloud-based SAP solutions
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and support operations
• Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools within SAP landscapes
